Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Irving, Texas. As a Bookkeeper in our organization, you will be involved in a variety of financial operations, from processing customer orders to managing accounts and performing monthly bank reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Handle and process sales orders on a daily basis with efficiency. • Convert these sales orders into invoices and ensure their timely dispatch. • Oversee and execute purchase orders as required. • Distribute processed orders to the respective customers in a timely manner. • Manage customer receivables and payables to ensure smooth financial operations. • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to keep our financial records accurate and up-to-date. • Undertake light tax duties for specific regions, complying with standard procedures for state sales taxes. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for task management and data entry, demonstrating a basic understanding of spreadsheets. • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and techniques • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Extensive knowledge and experience in bookkeeping • Proficient in data entry tasks and processes • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel • Experience in month end close procedures and tasks • Understanding of payroll processes and systems • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
