Description We are offering a contract to hire, part-time, hybrid employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will also run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. Responsibilities: • Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded in the bookkeeping system • Engage directly with clients to ensure smooth and accurate transactions • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Assist with tax planning and preparation during high-demand periods • Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data and transactions • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records • Prepare and review balance sheets for accuracy and completeness • Support in preparing financial statements for review • Handle data entry tasks and manage supporting documentation for all financial transactions • Be comfortable with on-site work Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Experience with Bank Reconciliations • Solid understanding and experience in Bookkeeping • Proficient in Data Entry • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with Month End Close procedures • Experience in Payroll processing • Proficient in using QuickBooks software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
