Bookkeeper
Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team based in Spokane, Washington. This role will involve managing accounting tasks such as processing incoming payments, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to their duties and use their excellent communication and organization skills to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed accurately. Responsibilities: • Assist with managing incoming payments and processing payables. • Maintain accurate accounting records with attention to detail and accuracy. • Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable and Payable processes. • Handle AP email for approvals, coded invoices, payment requests, job update requests, and miscellaneous accounting questions. • Post submitted estimates in the system and PDF reports to accounting folders. • Ensure timely remote deposit of all checks received and post payments received. • Manage vendor invoices, including posting, flagging, and processing for overhead expenses. • Monitor AP Aging reports to keep payables processed in a timely manner. • Assist with setting up new Federal jobs as needed and post Purchase Orders for Federal Sub Requests. • Reconcile vendor statements for outstanding invoices and process credit card payments online. • Assist and provide backup for payroll when needed. • Maintain and update vehicle schedule and credit card schedule. SALARY RANGE: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour BENEFITS OFFERED: - Healthcare Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision eligible after 60 days. 75% company paid for employees, - Other Insurance: Life insurance, EAP eligible after 60 days of employment - Retirement Plan: What type – 401K plan eligibility from date of hire. Profit sharing after one year - PTO: minimum # of days or hours offered - 120 hours PTO per year accruing from date of hire, Eligible for use after 90 days. 8 paid holidays after 90 days. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required • Must have experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge and skill in Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary • Experience in Bank Reconciliations is essential • Must possess Bookkeeping skills • Ability to perform Data Entry tasks is required • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary • Must have experience in Month End Close Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
