Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in the Amusement/Recreation Services/Entertainment industry, located in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The role involves managing financial records, processing payroll, and handling accounts payable and receivable, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Oversee general bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and maintain annual budgets. • Handle payroll management, ensuring timely and accurate payment for all staff. • Maintain the general ledger and make regular journal entries. • Manage expenses effectively and efficiently. • Allocate and reconcile revenue and expenses across several businesses. • Conduct regular cash flow and bank account reconciliations. • Handle minor HR tasks, such as managing employee benefits. • Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks to effectively perform duties. Requirements • Possession of at least one year of experience in Bookkeeping or a related field • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Knowledge and experience in Bank Reconciliations • Demonstrated skills in Bookkeeping and Data Entry • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Month End Close processes • Experience in managing Payroll • Demonstrated skills in QuickBooks or similar accounting software • Ability to work in a fast-paced amusement/recreation service and entertainment industry • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Adaptability and capability to work with a diverse team • High level of integrity and professionalism.
