Description FULL TIME -PERMANENT Bookkeeper! Location: Cheshire, CT- FULL TIME ONSITE, NO EXCEPTIONS Schedule: 9-5, M-F, with overtime potential during peak season! We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with ten or more years of steady Bookkeeping experience for a small service company in Cheshire, CT. This position includes a full-time schedule with the possibility of overtime hours during peak season. This person will work closely with the CPA as needed. Responsibilities: + Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable + Oversee payroll (an outside company handles most tasks; this person will be responsible for monitor changes and updates as needed) + Bank and account reconciliations + Monthly close + Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or summaries of financial transactions + Assist and work with the CPA as needed Qualifications: + A minimum of 10 years bookkeeping experience + Must be proficient in QuickBooks + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Experience working in a small company environment + Exceptional ability to problem-solve, organize and prioritize tasks. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + High attention to detail and accuracy Compensation: Up to $32 per hour, depending on experience.
