Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team based in NEW YORK, New York, United States. The primary focus of this role will be to handle a range of accounting tasks, including data entry, account review, and other ad hoc projects. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable • Ensure accurate and efficient data entry • Handle the billing process and manage open invoices • Conduct account review and reconciliation to ensure accuracy • Manage ad hoc projects as needed • Possibly handle bank reconciliations • Potentially oversee payroll operations • Use accounting software and spreadsheet software for various tasks Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations • Proven track record in Bookkeeping • Ability to perform efficient Data Entry tasks • Competency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Knowledge of Payroll processing • Proficiency in QuickBooks software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
