The Opportunity 

Grizzly Supplies is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Surrey, British Columbia. As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

As the Bookkeeper, your key responsibilities will include:  

Prepare and analyze monthly income statements and balance sheets for multiple entities Prepare monthly and daily KPI reports and quarterly and year end working papers Prepare account reconciliations and month end adjusting journal entries Classify, code, and summarize data and keep accurate financial records Assist with accounts receivable and credit management Reconcile accounts payable Prepare cheque, ACH, and wire transfers Prepare provincial and state tax filings Assist with budgets and special projects as required

Required Skills & Qualifications 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:  

Post-secondary education in a related field, such as accounting At least three years of related bookkeeping or accounting work experience Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including strong knowledge of Excel Experience with NAV is an asset Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability and motivation to work independently with minimal supervision

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000 to $62,500 per year, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Surrey, British Columbia.
