Description We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our CPA firm located in Pompano Beach, Florida. As a Bookkeeper, your primary role will focus on maintaining financial records of over 100 clients, including the processing of account receivables and payables, coordinating bank reconciliations, and managing payroll. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately manage and process client credit applications. • Maintain precise records of customer credit. • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. • Monitor and manage customer accounts, implementing appropriate actions when necessary. • Perform accurate account reconciliation tasks. • Efficiently handle accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. • Oversee bookkeeping for multiple clients to maintain financial transparency. • Perform data entry tasks and utilize Microsoft Excel for record keeping. • Manage month-end close processes diligently. • Handle payroll responsibilities, ensuring all client employees are paid accurately and on time. • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting operations. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation. • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP). • Demonstrated skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR). • Ability to handle Bank Reconciliations. • Prior experience in Bookkeeping is essential. • Proficiency in Data Entry tasks. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Experience in Month End Close procedures. • Experience in Payroll management. • Proficiency in using QuickBooks.
