Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Bookkeeper position in Covington, Kentucky. This role is within the manufacturing industry and will take place in a fast-paced workplace. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records • Perform bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions are accounted for and properly posted • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and month-end close processes • Handle payroll tasks, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time • Use Quickbooks Online to manage and track financial transactions • Ensure all bookkeeping tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar position • Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations • Strong experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) • Demonstrated skills in bookkeeping and data entry • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Experience in conducting month-end close procedures • Knowledge and experience in managing payroll • Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for financial management and reporting • Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
