Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, and handling other bookkeeping tasks. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, providing a vital function within our organization. Responsibilities: • Manage and process accounts payable and receivable • Maintain meticulous general ledger records • Take charge of bookkeeping tasks and ensure accuracy in all financial documents • Respond to inquiries related to customer accounts promptly and professionally • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed • Work with the team to ensure smooth transition and training on our accounting software • Continually review processes for improvement and efficiency • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is a must for this role. • A strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Familiarity with General Ledger is essential for this position. • Hands-on experience in Bookkeeping is compulsory. • No "Please note" shown in the bullet points.
