Description We are in search of a proficient Bookkeeper to be a part of our team in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing financial data, ensuring the accuracy of invoices, and preparing for audits. You will also be tasked with handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. THIS JOB STARTS ON JANUARY 13th and we are conducting interviews this week. Apply immediately! Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Assist with 1099's Verify that transactions are recorded accurately in the correct ledger accounts. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds. Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements. Collaborate with accountants and auditors during financial audits and tax preparation. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Requirements • Possess skills in Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records. Also experience with journal entries • Have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and ensuring timely payments. • Have proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations to avoid discrepancies. • Exhibit strong Bookkeeping skills for maintaining and organizing financial records. • Demonstrate efficient Data Entry skills for accurate record keeping. • Possess knowledge of Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets. • Have proficiency in using QuickBooks for managing accounting and financial tasks.
