Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in the Legal industry, located in CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Michigan, 48038-1558, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Bookkeeper, you are expected to assist with financial records, process account transactions, and handle customer inquiries with utmost precision and efficiency. Responsibilities • Assist with year-end bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. • Enter expenses into QuickBooks efficiently to provide the client with updated Profit and Loss statements and balance sheets. • Reconcile credit card statements to maintain accurate financial records. • Review and rectify account discrepancies from the past 8 months. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable ensuring accuracy in data entry. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports. • Conduct month-end close procedures efficiently. • Manage payroll activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain bookkeeping tasks with precision and attention to detail. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required • Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary • Demonstrated ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is a must • Proven experience in Bookkeeping is crucial • Excellent Data Entry skills are needed • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory • Experience with Month End Close is required • Previous experience with Payroll is necessary • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
