Description We are on the lookout for a dedicated Bookkeeper to be part of our team based in LIMA, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with managing our financial records, including sales, receipts, payments, and more. You will be instrumental in maintaining our financial processes, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data. Responsibilities: • Handle the full cycle of accounting duties or supervise others in the process. • Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy. • Manage and maintain updated accounts receivable records, including invoicing, cash receipts, and collection. • Oversee the process of accounts payable, including payment of vendor invoices and debt payments. • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for effective bookkeeping and data entry. • Ensure the accuracy of data by performing account reconciliation. • Carry out month-end close processes diligently. • Manage payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner. • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company financial information. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Capable of performing Bank Reconciliations • Knowledgeable in Bookkeeping practices • Skilled at Data Entry • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with Payroll processes • Proficient in QuickBooks software • Experience with Quickbooks Online is highly desirable Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
