Description Robert Half is seeking a Bookkeeper for our client here in Reno, NV. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, managing payroll, reconciling accounts, invoicing, and ensuring legal compliance. This is a temporary to permanent job opportunity, if interested please apply today and for immediate consideration call Keisha White at 775-313-0454 Responsibilities: • Accurately record all financial transactions including client invoices, bills, receipts, and purchases. • Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts. • Manage payroll, including preparing and submitting information to a payroll service. • Reconcile accounts to ensure transaction details in accounting software match bank account statements, credit card statements, and other financial account statements. • Invoice customers and monitor payment statuses. • Manage accounts payable and receivable. • Ensure that financial records and transactions comply with relevant state and federal regulations. • Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, and QuickBooks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and bookkeeping. • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Experience in bank reconciliations. • Strong data entry skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Experience with month-end close procedures. • Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
