Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves a blend of finance tasks such as maintaining client bookkeeping, processing payroll, handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), and preparing individual and corporate tax returns. The workplace is fast-paced and requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: • Oversee and maintain client bookkeeping procedures with precision. • Handle payroll processing tasks ensuring timely and accurate payment. • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) to maintain financial clarity. • Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns accurately. • Utilize QuickBooks for streamlined accounting processes. • Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy. • Perform bank reconciliations to verify the company's records match the bank's records. • Use Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting. • Oversee month-end close procedures for financial accuracy. • Monitor and manage client accounts, taking necessary action when required.
