Description We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our client's organization. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the overall financial health of the company. Key Responsibilities + Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. + Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements regularly. + Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll (if applicable). + Maintain general ledger and ensure timely updates of all entries. + Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and tax reporting requirements. + Collaborate with accountants during audits or tax preparation. + Maintain and organize financial records and documentation. Requirements + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. + Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. + High attention to detail and accuracy. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
