Description We are in search of a proficient Bookkeeper to become a part of our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and responding to financial inquiries. This is a short term contract employment opportunity that involves a strong focus on Bookkeeping Functions. Responsibilities: • Accurately manage and update financial data • Handle bookkeeping tasks efficiently and effectively • Respond to financial inquiries with accurate information • Monitor and manage financial records for accuracy • Ensure all bookkeeping tasks are completed in a timely manner • Continuously update and maintain accurate financial records • Take appropriate actions based on financial account monitoring. Requirements • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. • Proven experience in a bookkeeping role is required. • Proficiency in bookkeeping software, particularly QuickBooks, is essential. • Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping functions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. • Strong mathematical skills and a keen attention to detail. • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information. • Strong data entry skills and ability to handle financial documents. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgments.
