Description Our client, an Oil and Gas Manufacturing company located in Montgomery is searching for a bookkeeper on a contract to hire basis. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00pm. Apply today for immediate consideration! Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper: • Accurately entering accounting data such as purchase orders and invoices into the system. • Creating checks as part of the daily accounting duties. • Overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure all financial obligations are met. • Performing regular bank reconciliations. • Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely receipt of payments. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role • Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion • Strong knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures and accounting principles • Must be capable of working independently and meet deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
