Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Glen Burnie, Maryland. As a Bookkeeper, you will be managing various aspects of inventory and asset management, performing day-to-day accounting functions, and handling accounts receivables and payables. Responsibilities: • Management of inventory, including data entry and system updates • Administering contracts and overseeing asset management • Performing month-end and year-end closings • Execution of journal entries and account reconciliations • Handling accounts receivables and serving as a backup for accounts payable functions • Billing tasks and client communication for inquiries • Usage of Excel for report exportation and manipulation • Proficiency in QuickBooks Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar capacity • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Solid experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations • Demonstrable knowledge and skills in Bookkeeping • Familiarity with Data Entry tasks related to finance and accounting • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data management • Experience in handling Month End Close procedures • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management • Experience in managing Year End Closings • Ability to create and manage Journal Entries • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation tasks • Experience in Billing processes and systems Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
