Description We are looking for a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of recording financial transactions, updating ledgers, and generating financial reports. You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and reconciling discrepancies. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately recording daily financial transactions such as purchases, sales, expenses, invoices, and payments • Updating general ledgers and preparing trial balances for accountants • Producing financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Maintaining precise records for accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries • Ensuring compliance by maintaining and filing documents for taxation • Assisting with payroll operations as needed • Generating invoices for credit card bills or inventory orders as required • Reconciling or reporting any discrepancies found in financial reports • Maintaining timely communications with clients Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field + At least 2 years of previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role + Proficient in Abila MIP + Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles + Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records + High degree of accuracy and attention to detail + Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to operate in a professional manner under confidentiality policies related to sensitive organization and client information Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
