Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a PART TIME Bookkeeper in West Islip, New York. This role is integral to daily operations, where you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, ensuring accuracy of records, and resolving any customer inquiries in a timely manner. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the process of customer credit applications with care and precision • Ensuring the accuracy and up-to-date status of customer credit records • Managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively • Conducting regular account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy • Utilizing QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and bookkeeping tasks • Handling bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for • Resolving any customer inquiries related to their accounts in a detail oriented manner.
