Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in Hackettstown, New Jersey, in the private education sector. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be required to manage customer accounts, resolve inquiries, and maintain accurate records. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process journal entries • Reconcile accounts effectively • Ensure accurate bookkeeping and month-end close activities • Assist with student tuition management and billing • Handle budgeting and forecasting operations • Manage tax compliance tasks • Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating the ability to cross-train in other areas • Display good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Respond to employee and student queries, and handle any issues with online payments • Maintain compliance with board demands and end-of-year audit requirements.
