Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our client's financial records and support the accounting team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. Key Responsibilities: + Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. + Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts. + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment collection. + Prepare and manage payroll processing and tax filings. + Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial data. + Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements. + Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts. + Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. + Support audits by providing accurate financial documentation. + Identify and recommend process improvements for accounting efficiency. Requirements + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage). + Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. + Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with other financial tools. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in financial records. + Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
