Description We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Bookkeeper, you will take on a range of responsibilities, including managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting cash flow planning, and managing multiple bank accounts. You will also be tasked with overseeing contract management and resolving vendor-related issues. Responsibilities: • Conduct cash flow planning, labor forecasting, and overhead projections to effectively manage overhead • Handle both Accounts Payable and Receivable with accuracy and efficiency • Facilitate the payment process, primarily using Zelle/ACH • Oversee contract management and ensure all contracts are in order • Resolve vendor-related issues promptly and professionally • Generate invoices, labor releases, and lien releases as part of Accounts Receivable tasks • Execute job costing with the aid of an estimated budget • Manage multiple bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role. • Expertise in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations. • Proficiency in using QuickBooks Pro. • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. • Outstanding organizational and time management skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. • Good communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred. • Experience in data entry and record keeping. • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. • Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation.
