Description We are in search of a diligent Bookkeeper to be a part of our team located in Sunnyvale, California. As the Bookkeeper, you will be instrumental in managing financial data, ensuring the accuracy of our accounts receivable and payable processes, and preparing financial statements. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications. • Maintain precise records of customer credit, ensuring data accuracy. • Manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows, maintaining a healthy cash flow. • Be responsible for preparing and updating financial statements, reports and general ledger entries. • Take charge of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. • Ensure timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and year-end state taxes. • Investigate any discrepancies in financial data and recommend corrective actions where necessary. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial data. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and enhance accounting workflows. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential • Prior experience in Bookkeeping is required • Must have strong Data Entry skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected • Familiarity with Month End Close procedures is necessary • Experience in Payroll management is required • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
