Description We are inviting applications for the role of Bookkeeper. Based in Carlsbad, California, the position will involve managing financial records and processing transactions for our organization. The industry in which you will be working is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a meticulous and organized approach to work. Responsibilities: • Accurately handle account reconciliation procedures • Manage accounts payable (AP) and ensure timely payments • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding payments • Conduct thorough bank reconciliations regularly • Maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records • Ensure accurate data entry of financial transactions • Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting and financial tasks • Conduct month-end close procedures efficiently • Manage payroll activities and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting activities Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must for efficient tracking of financial transactions. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required to manage outgoing payments. • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential to oversee incoming payments. • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate. • Strong Bookkeeping skills are needed to maintain financial records. • Data Entry skills are required to input financial transactions into our system. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data analysis and financial reporting. • Experience with Month End Close procedures is crucial to ensure timely financial reporting. • Knowledge of Payroll processes is important to maintain accurate employee compensation. • Familiarity with QuickBooks is essential for managing financial data.
