Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the vibrant city of Toledo, Ohio. This role is a hybrid one, allowing you to work from our office and from the comfort of your home. In this role, you will be playing a crucial part in our Finance, Admin, and HR department, overseeing daily bookkeeping entries, electronic organization of files, and development of accounting and administrative processes. Responsibilities: • Managing the process of double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting • Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Conducting bank reconciliations and account reconciliations • Assisting in balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries • Leading the cleanup of data in QuickBooks • Providing feedback to management on areas of improvement • Developing and maintaining processes for accounting and administrative work • Handling payroll management • Writing financial reports • Navigating online interfaces easily. Requirements • Minimum of three years experience in a bookkeeping role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures. • Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). • Capable of performing bank reconciliations. • Solid understanding and experience in bookkeeping practices. • Demonstrated skills in data entry tasks. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting. • Experience in month-end close procedures. • Familiarity with payroll processes. • Proficient in the use of QuickBooks accounting software.
