Description We are in the process of adding a Bookkeeper to our IT Software team in Sunnyvale, California. As a Bookkeeper, your main role will be to manage and reconcile financial transactions, prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will also interact with accountants during tax time or for high-level financial planning. Responsibilities • Accurately handle the processing of invoices, tracking of receipts, and billing inquiries. • Prepare and maintain financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and profit-and-loss reports. • Diligently manage and reconcile various financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank statements. • Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations. • Perform regular data entry tasks and maintain organized records for backup and review. • Collaborate with accountants during tax season or for high-level financial planning. • Manage budgets effectively and forecast future financial needs. • Provide necessary documentation and explanations during financial audits. • Utilize software like Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Quickbooks Online to perform bookkeeping tasks. • Perform account reconciliation tasks including Bank Account Reconciliation and Monthly Bank Reconciliation. • Handle the Month End Close process efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the IT Software industry • Proficient in Account Reconciliation • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations • Expertise in Bookkeeping is essential • Proven ability in Data Entry • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Knowledge of Payroll processes • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online is required • Experience with Bank Account Reconciliation • Familiarity with Monthly Bank Reconciliation procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
