Description We are offering a part-time contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Cincinnati. As a Bookkeeper, you will be entrusted with tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, along with other miscellaneous responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Ensure the correct allocation of payments to the General Ledger. • Maintain a record of W-9s and issue 1099s accordingly. • Responsible for the coding, entering, and filing of invoices while ensuring the accuracy of bills and addressing any discrepancies. • Manage the processing and reconciliation of credit card payments. • Execute tasks related to accounts receivable such as processing checks and monthly billing. • Handle the generation and dispatch of monthly invoices. • Oversee the processing of monthly ACH debits. • Assist with answering phone calls and other projects as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is a must for this role. The candidate should be capable of handling all AP related tasks, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment tracking. • The permanent addition to our team needs to demonstrate solid experience with Accounts Receivable (AR). This includes managing billing, customer account reconciliation, and ensuring prompt payment. • Mastery in Credit Card Reconciliation is a critical requirement. The applicant must be adept at verifying and reconciling credit card statements and transactions. • Familiarity with Form 1099 is essential. The candidate should be well-versed in preparing and issuing 1099 forms, as well as maintaining related records. • A firm understanding of the General Ledger is necessary. The job holder should be competent in managing all aspects of the general ledger, including posting entries, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy.
