Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in CARMEL, Indiana. As a Bookkeeper in our organization, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including managing customer accounts, processing financial transactions, and facilitating efficient client onboarding. Your role will span across multiple functions within our organization, and will require a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills. Responsibilities • Manage and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy • Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable • Execute bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate • Provide support to client onboarding process, including evaluation of financial records and streamlining their integration into our system • Facilitate data entry tasks and maintain updated customer records • Use QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data • Handle bookkeeping tasks of varying complexity • Ensure month-end close processes are completed accurately and on time • Manage payroll tasks to ensure employees are compensated correctly • Maintain a client-facing role, effectively communicating with clients over Slack. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required • Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations is a must • Demonstrated expertise in Bookkeeping is essential • Should be adept at Data Entry tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required • Experience in Month End Close activities is needed • Must have experience in handling Payroll • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
