Description A non-profit organization in the East of Pittsburgh is in need of a temporary to hire Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper position is ON-SITE but can be hybrid once training period has ended. Work hours are from 830am-430pm or 9am-5pm. The Bookkeeper would be responsible for the following duties: • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring proper tracking of transactions. • Reconcile cash accounts and ensure all entries are accurately recorded. • Process payroll for a small team • Prepare and maintain grant reports, ensuring compliance with funding requirements. • Code grants appropriately to align with financial guidelines and reporting. • Perform clean-up of financial records and ensure proper documentation. • Utilize Excel for financial reporting and data analysis. Requirements • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a non-profit or grant-funded environment. • Strong QuickBooks proficiency and knowledge of debits and credits. • Experience in payroll processing and cash reconciliation. • Familiarity with grant reporting and coding. • Proficiency in Excel for financial tracking and analysis.
