Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Bookkeeper to be a part of our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing financial records, including contributions, and ensuring all bills are paid in a timely manner. The role also involves maintaining financial statements and managing payments for staff. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, with the potential to transition into a hybrid working model. Responsibilities: • Ensuring accurate recording and management of contributions • Handling the payment of utility, lawn, and miscellaneous bills • Compiling and maintaining financial statements • Managing payments for the Pastor, Worship leader, and janitor • Operating and managing financial software, specifically Power Church Plus • Transitioning to a hybrid work model after initial on-site period • Conducting account reconciliation and bank reconciliations • Managing accounts payable and receivable • Handling data entry tasks and utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial tasks • Managing month-end close processes and payroll • Utilizing QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar position • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Demonstrated experience in general Bookkeeping • Proven skills in accurate Data Entry • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Knowledge and experience in managing Payroll • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
