Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Natick Massachusetts. The primary function of this role will be to manage customer accounts, process transactions, and maintain accurate financial records in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and track customer accounts, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
• Process credit applications from customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure the accuracy of all accounting entries posted to the general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements and monthly reports to reflect the financial status of the organization.
• Send out bills to customers and follow up for payment where necessary.
• Use accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases to manage financial data.
• Address and resolve issues related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and answering phone calls as required.
• Use Peachtree ERP and Excel to manage and analyze financial data.
• Reconcile all accounts, including aging accounts and bank accounts, to ensure accuracy.
This role will require extensive knowledge in Property Accounting, Basic Bookkeeping, Bookkeeping Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Aging Accounts, Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, Monthly Financial Reporting, Monthly Financial Reports, and Monthly Financial Statements. Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel is also necessary.

Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a bookkeeping role
• Proficiency in property accounting
• Demonstrable knowledge in basic bookkeeping
• Capacity to perform all bookkeeping functions effectively
• Experience with Peachtree Accounting Software is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to manage aging accounts
• Expertise in account reconciliation
• Proficient in balance sheet account reconciliation
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations
• Experience in monthly financial reporting
• Capacity to prepare monthly financial reports
• Ability to prepare monthly financial statements
