Description Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting is working with a well-established commercial property management company seeking a Part-Time Property Management Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial property management accounting, proficiency with Yardi software, and a meticulous approach to handling day-to-day accounting operations. This is a part-time opportunity offering flexible hours to support work-life balance. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Handle general ledger entries for commercial property management accounts and track expenses. • Prepare monthly financial reports and undertake account reconciliation. • Utilize Yardi software to manage tenant ledgers, property financials, and lease accounting, ensuring data accuracy. • Deal with property-specific accounting tasks such as common area maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, tenant billing, and expense allocations. • Collaborate with property managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely accounting processes. • Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and other bookkeeping tasks. • Perform bank reconciliations and month-end close activities. • Handle payroll duties as required.
