Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Savannah, Georgia, United States. The role is within a CPA Firm industry, where you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, focusing mainly on account management and bookkeeping. Responsibilities • Managing and processing accounts payable and receivable • Conducting bank reconciliations and account reconciliations • Handling data entry tasks and maintaining accurate records • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks • Conducting month-end close procedures • Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records • Utilizing QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial tasks • Carrying out general back office tasks as required. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of bookkeeping • Proven experience with account reconciliation processes • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices • Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas • Experience with month-end close procedures and reporting • Familiarity with payroll processing, including deductions and benefits • Proficiency in QuickBooks, including setup, usage, and troubleshooting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
