Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Battle Creek, Michigan. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operations within the team. Responsibilities: • Accurately processing vendor invoices and maintaining the Accounts Payable ledger. • Ensuring all company credit card transactions are accurately recorded through periodic reconciliations. • Managing payroll functions, including reviewing timecards and submitting payroll. • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll. • Leveraging QuickBooks Online to manage and maintain financial records. • Utilizing ADP for payroll processes. • Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. • Handling data entry tasks efficiently. • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks. • Performing month-end close activities. • Managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Extensive knowledge in Bookkeeping • Proficient in Data Entry • Mastery of Microsoft Excel • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Ability to manage Payroll • Proficiency in QuickBooks • Experience with ADP - Payroll Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
