\n \n Job Description
The Bookkeeper (entry-level) is responsible for working with accounts payable/receivable, coordinating various accounts for their companies, and other duties may include working with both customersand vendors.
\n\nDaily responsibilities:
\n\nResearch and respond to inquires by phone and emails.\nResolve payments issues and account discrepancies.\nSet up accounts and update vendor addresses in the system.\nProcess settlements and refunds.\nOrder and issue coupon books for each association.\nScan deposits and checks to lockbox and to the bank.\nProcess completed deposit report and checks to bank. Ensure accuracy. Print deposit slip.\nBank reconciliations.\nPrepare Balance Sheet, Income and cash flow statement.\nCompile files, upload file, print and report package.\nProcess and compile late notices,delinquency reports, and aging for multiple communities in the branch.\nResearch delinquent accounts.\nPrepare account for turnover status.Prepare Control Sheet.Check Court status.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n$22 an hour.
\n Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\n2+ years of related accounting experience.\nAnalytical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various forms and formats.\nPerform calculations and analysis used in basic accounting.Basic knowledge in proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).Time management and time critical prioritization skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.conflict resolution techniques.\n\n\n\n\n\n
