Description We are providing an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our team located in RITTMAN, Ohio. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with maintaining and reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and handling both accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities: • Handle the processing of accounts payable • Manage the processing of accounts receivable • Execute account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy • Oversee the payroll process and ensure timely payments • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data • Perform data entry tasks and maintain organized records • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports • Carry out bookkeeping duties in accordance with established standards • Assist in the month end close process to finalize financial statements • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeping role or similar position • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) to manage outgoing payments • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) to handle incoming payments • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations to verify company's financial records • Strong Bookkeeping skills to maintain accurate financial records • Excellent Data Entry skills for inputting financial transactions accurately • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for organizing and manipulating financial data • Experience with Month End Close to ensure all financial data is accounted for • Ability to manage Payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing and recording financial transactions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
