Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity based in Richmond, Virginia for a Bookkeeper within our team. The position will be focused on tasks such as processing purchase order information, handling billing and invoice procedures, administering insurance, and delivering high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and manage Purchase Order (PO) details, Joint checks, and General Contractor (GC) Contracts
• Handle billing and invoice procedures, including Architect's Instruction Agreements (AIA), General Contractor (GC) Pay, etc.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processes
• Administer various insurance aspects including workers' compensation, general liability, building and hazard, auto, and health insurance
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
• Utilize QuickBooks for various tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll
• Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations as required
• Conduct month-end close processes in a timely manner
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and reporting
• Contribute to general problem-solving within the team to optimize workflow and processes.
Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential for accurate financial reporting and auditing.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary for managing outgoing payments.
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required to ensure timely collection of payments.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping is crucial for maintaining financial records and reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for managing, analyzing, and visualizing data.
• Experience with month-end close procedures is necessary for timely financial reporting.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and systems is required for accurate salary disbursement.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for efficient accounting and bookkeeping operations.
