Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper who is experienced QuickBooks to manage our financial transactions and maintain accurate records . This is a direct hire opportunity with an integrated Construction, Design and Technology solutions firm located in Holbrook NY.
Pay: $22 to $25/hour
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial accuracy. This role offers flexible hours and is perfect for someone looking for a part-time position with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities: Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks Reconcile bank and credit card statements Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and manage invoices and expense reports Assist with payroll processing and tax filings Generate financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations Work closely with the accountant for end-of-year tax preparation Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits as needed
Qualifications: Experience with Zoho is preferred but not required Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Experience with payroll processing is a plus Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
