We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at a busy beef packing plant. The ideal candidate must have USDA experience, 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong understanding of financial processes and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.Maintain accurate financial records, preparing financial reports as required by management.Monitor and process all invoices and payments in compliance with company policies.Ensure compliance with USDA regulations as applicable to plant operations and financial transactions.Assist with inventory management and tracking, ensuring accurate financial reporting of plant operations.Handle any additional bookkeeping and accounting duties as assigned.
Work Experience
Qualifications:3-5 years of bookkeeping experience is required.Experience working in the beef packing or meat processing industry is a plus.USDA experience required.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to work with accounting software.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Pay:Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
