We are looking for a Boost Unit Assistant proactive and with great organizational skills to join our team in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
As a Boost Unit Assistant, you will act as a key partner to the assigned mission head(s), providing critical support to enhance efficiency and ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and cost awareness. Your role involves proactively anticipating the manager’s needs, applying best practices, and fostering operational excellence. A strong enthusiasm to learn, understand team priorities, and address key issues effectively is essential for success in this position.
Who you’ll work with
Your primary focus will be on the specific mission(s) you are appointed to, and in addition to that, you will cooperate within the Boost Unit and extend your responsibilities across various UCB HQ department activities.
You will engage with cross-functional stakeholders, depending on your missions. This integrated approach aims to create a significant impact on our patients' lives.
What you’ll do
Develop knowledge of UCB’s Patient Value Strategy, objectives, products, and ways of working.Manage agendas, correspondence, and priorities to maintain efficient and productive workflows.Organize meetings, events, and travel, ensuring seamless logistics and compliance.Follow up on projects, track deliverables, and support virtual and team initiatives.Create and manage documents, reports, and workflows using SharePoint and OneDrive.Monitor budgets, process purchase orders, and ensure accurate and timely expense reporting.Engage with team members, support onboarding, and organize team-building activities.

Confident assistant with self-awareness and proactive task completion skills.Fluent in English; French or Dutch language skills are an asset.Strong organizational and planning abilities for effective, timely, and independent outputs.Excellent communicator, fostering collaboration with management, teams, and business partners.Proficient in MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word; adapts quickly to new systems.Resilient, adaptable to change, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.Motivated team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and improve.
