Boring Mill Operator
**Job Title: Boring Mill Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Boring Mill Operator to machine pieces for press feeding equipment, including materials such as stainless steel, aluminum cast, bronze, and nickel. The role involves reading blueprints, programming machines in Fusion 360, setting up fixtures and parts, running pieces, and performing quality inspections with a tolerance of .005. **Responsibilities** + Machine pieces for press feeding equipment using stainless steel, aluminum cast, bronze, and nickel. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. + Program machines using Fusion 360. + Set up fixtures and parts for machining. + Run pieces through the machine and perform quality inspections. + Ensure tolerance levels are maintained at .005. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in programming and operating boring mills. + Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with Mastercam programming from blueprints. + 3-5 years of experience in boring mill setup, including overhead crane and big piece work. + Proficient in quality measuring using micrometers and calipers. + Experience with optical comparators. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Toolmaking and tooling experience. + Knowledge of CNC milling and lathe operations. **Why Work Here?** We offer great benefits including full coverage BCBS, 2 weeks PTO, a 401k with a 10% match, monthly lunches, and employee profit sharing.
