We offer competitive pay, an outstanding health and financial benefits package at 30 days of employment, Tuition Reimbursement, and a new pathway to build your career. **Responsibilities:** + Installation of all flow media, vacuum, feed lines, and bagging material + Perform startup procedures in preparation for lamination which involves, identify various molds that are to be infused, locate materials and kits. + Work with various resins, fiberglass materials, and structural adhesives. + Work with the vacuum infusion process + Troubleshoot errors in the infusion process and uncover any possible leaks. + Run and maintain the infusion pump. + Laminate layers of fiberglass on molds by hand, roller, and brush working material into shape, removing air and smoothing surfaces. + Apply bonding and structural stiffening materials according to blueprints and work instructions. + Debag and prepare for secondary bonding. + Follow housekeeping and safety procedures Qualifications + Should be able to use a variety of hand tools, razor knives, scissors, power tools, and overhead hoists. + Should be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature. + Should be able to work a 10-hour shift standing, bending, and lifting. + Should be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment. + Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals + Should have strong attention to detail + Should be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods. + Should be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits. + Should follow all safety standards and procedures + Should adhere to all quality standards and adhere to new standards as processes evolve. + Should demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience + Should be able to work well with teams and in close proximity to each other + Should be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions + Skills in fiberglass and resin preferred **Physical Requirements and Activities** **:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Shifts: + Boston Whaler has multiple shifts available to fit a variety of schedule. + The standard work schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM. + Occasional overtime may be required based on scheduling and business needs, including non-schedule workdays or irregular hours. + An hourly premium shift differential is available for employees working night shift and weekends The anticipated pay range for this position is $17.50 to $24.30 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
