See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality.** **Position Overview** **:** Infusion Technician - Laminator Want to join a winning team? We offer competitive pay, an outstanding health and financial benefits package at 30 days of employment, Tuition Reimbursement, and a new pathway to build your career. **Responsibilities:** + Installation of all flow media, vacuum, feed lines, and bagging material + Perform startup procedures in preparation for lamination which involves, identify various molds that are to be infused, locate materials and kits. + Work with various resins, fiberglass materials, and structural adhesives. + Work with the vacuum infusion process + Troubleshoot errors in the infusion process and uncover any possible leaks. + Run and maintain the infusion pump. + Laminate layers of fiberglass on molds by hand, roller, and brush working material into shape, removing air and smoothing surfaces. + Apply bonding and structural stiffening materials according to blueprints and work instructions. + Debag and prepare for secondary bonding. + Follow housekeeping and safety procedures Qualifications + Should be able to use a variety of hand tools, razor knives, scissors, power tools, and overhead hoists. + Should be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature. + Should be able to work a 10-hour shift standing, bending, and lifting. + Should be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment. + Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals + Should have strong attention to detail + Should be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods. + Should be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits. + Should follow all safety standards and procedures + Should adhere to all quality standards and adhere to new standards as processes evolve. + Should demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience + Should be able to work well with teams and in close proximity to each other + Should be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions + Skills in fiberglass and resin preferred **Physical Requirements and Activities** **:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Shifts: + Boston Whaler has multiple shifts available to fit a variety of schedule. + The standard work schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM. + Occasional overtime may be required based on scheduling and business needs, including non-schedule workdays or irregular hours. + An hourly premium shift differential is available for employees working night shift and weekends The anticipated pay range for this position is $17.50 to $24.30 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
