Application Deadline February 26th, 2025 Position Summary Assist in the cleaning and general maintenance of garbage receptacles, including emptying regular trash, recycle receptacles and bins, and transfer to designated containers. Assist in snow shoveling and snow removal. Assist with routine cleaning and garbage receptacles throughout the Garden. Collect garbage and debris from Garden grounds through the duration of shift. Able to work independently and to communicate via radio with Garden management. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Under general supervision, assist in collection of regular trash and recycle from designated receptacles throughout the Garden, clean receptacles with appropriate cleaner, and maintain the overall look of receptacles at all times. Collect garbage and debris from Garden grounds at all times during duration of shift. Perform Garden perimeter clean up. Collect garbage at the Parking Garage and outside areas. Perform snow removal. Work schedule will be Thursday – Monday 10am – 6pm. Qualifications Valid New York State driver’s license. Ability to read, understand, obey work assignments and communicate via radio with Garden Management. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
