Are you passionate about ensuring the seamless operation of advanced traceability equipment in a dynamic production environment? Gallo is seeking a dedicated Traceability Technician to join our team in our Modesto Bottling Maintenance department. In this role, you will be pivotal in tracking, maintaining, and repairing essential traceability equipment, including Laser Coders, Print and Apply machines, ink jet printers, and laser extractors, across multiple sites. Your expertise will mitigate product holds related to traceability issues and keep our production lines running smoothly.
As a Traceability Technician, you will manually track equipment locations on the production floor, ensuring back-up equipment is always available. You will conduct regular audits to validate equipment locations and operational status, performing most maintenance and repairs yourself. Your keen eye for identifying training opportunities will empower maintenance mechanics with the knowledge to troubleshoot issues on the spot, minimizing downtime.

Partnering with Maintenance Planners, you will ensure that preventative maintenance activities are accurate and scheduled per recommendations.
You will be a vital resource for troubleshooting, repair, and rebuild training, maintaining spare parts inventory, and working closely with OEM suppliers to ensure high-quality components. Your forward-thinking approach will develop obsolescence strategies, monitor equipment lifespans, and lead traceability equipment initiatives.
