Description:
Summary:
As the Bowling Mechanic you are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment within the operational areas of the bowling alley. You will be providing quick and accurate maintenance service to the bowling lanes enhances the guest experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
+ Assist the mechanic supervisor in a formal preventative maintenance program for the pinsetters
+ Correct pinsetter malfunctions immediately while bowling is in progress
+ Follow regular maintenance and cleaning schedule
+ Check work schedule for special assignments
+ Wipe down all pins and repair minor damages including but not limited to the replacement bad pins when necessary
+ Maintain pit area, ball dusters, tables and other areas in bowling alley clean per regularly established procedure
+ Dust mop bowler’s area before the league begins and dust/spot mop area before leaving every night
+ Assist lane maintenance person when needed
+ Take out all trash and restock the supply closet at the end of shift
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
+ Provide outstanding guest service promptly to both guests and fellow team members that meet the company’s guest service culture standards
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications:
+ One (1) year experience as a pin chaser or relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment preferred
+ Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents maintenance instructions, and other related documents
+ Proven experience providing a high level of guest service
+ Able to accurately perform basic math skills
+ Must be at least 21 years of age
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
+ Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by company
+ Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:
+ Frequently push/pull, lift and/or carry up to 60lbs. at floor, knee, waist and chest levels
+ Occasionally maneuver large loads weighing up to 150lbs
+ Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist
+ Frequently stand and walk for prolonged periods
+ Ability to use manual and power tools
+ Ability to ascend and descent stairs
+ Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
+ Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
+ Ability to distinguish between shades of color
+ Ability to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
