BPRA Manager

As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients develop their Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.
The opportunity
We’re looking for Consultant / Sr. Consultant with expertise in BPRA (Business Planning Reporting & Analytics), and BPRA Process Assessment assignments. Also, experience in, Financial Accounting and Reporting domain is an added advantage to join the global EY - Finance Consulting team. Your key responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
• Expertise in Financial Planning, Budgeting, Consolidation, Cost Allocation, and EPM tools.
• Lead forecasting and financial planning, analyzing KPIs related to sales, expenditures, and profit margins.
• Transform company strategy into long-range plans, annual budgets, and forecasts.
• Advise on capital allocation, revenue, Opex/Capex plans, and key cost drivers to revise financial statements.
• Model BPRA team data to run sensitivity analyses and identify necessary updates.
Process Design and Optimization
• Design and implement operating models in BPRA.
• Configure and implement BPRA processes in EPM tools.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities in the BPRA domain.
• Redesign and optimize processes using BPM tools.
• Standardize and streamline close processes using best practices and technology.
Reporting and Analysis
• Identify KPIs for CXO reporting and dashboarding.
• Build management reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and others.
• Conduct vendor analysis and prepare relevant reports.
• Review key drivers and forecasts with regional and local leads, consolidating inputs from business units.
Collaboration and Support
• Collaborate with onshore finance teams on metrics and business reviews.
• Provide strategic support to executive leadership on current and future outlooks.
• Manage and supervise project teams.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Knowledge of ledger systems and SAP ERP/HANA, Oracle GL is a plus.
• Familiarity with finance functions such as Record to Report, account reconciliations, and fixed assets management.
• Understanding of financial close activities for month, quarter, and annual periods.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

To qualify for the role, you must have
• Consulting experience
• CA, CFA, CPA, OR Master’s in business administration in Finance
• 10-15 years of work experience in BPRA projects
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Anaplan/Tagetik/Oracle PBCS and EPBCS/Power BI/Tableau/OneStream/Board and relevant EPM tools
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Experience Finance Transformation, including GBS/SSC Setup
• Project management skills, IFRS Implementation / IFRS Reporting Experience
• Exposure to tools like ERP, EPM tools, Visio, ARIS, etc.
