University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation **Salary Range or Pay Grade** $170,416 - $346,177 Annually **Description** The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester Medical Center located in Rochester, NY is recruiting for a brain injury subspecialist. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is tracking on a rapid faculty and growth initiative consisting of a brand new acute inpatient subspecialty neurorehabilitation unit that opened in January 2024. This position will provide clinical brain injury expertise within the consult service, acute and subacute inpatient rehabilitation beds, as well as our growing brain injury outpatient populations. This role carries ample opportunity to pursue academic scholarly activity and research interfacing collaboratively with the Department of PM&R UR Neurorestorative Institute as well as with the Department’s of Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Del Monte Neuroscience Institute. Ideal candidates would be BC/BE and fellowship trained in brain injury and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience managing brain injury patients and would also have a keen interest in teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students.
