$170,416 - $346,177 Annually
**Description**
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester Medical Center located in Rochester, NY is recruiting for a brain injury subspecialist.
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is tracking on a rapid faculty and growth initiative consisting of a brand new acute inpatient subspecialty neurorehabilitation unit that opened in January 2024. This position will provide clinical brain injury expertise within the consult service, acute and subacute inpatient rehabilitation beds, as well as our growing brain injury outpatient populations. This role carries ample opportunity to pursue academic scholarly activity and research interfacing collaboratively with the Department of PM&R UR Neurorestorative Institute as well as with the Department’s of Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Del Monte Neuroscience Institute.
Ideal candidates would be BC/BE and fellowship trained in brain injury and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience managing brain injury patients and would also have a keen interest in teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
