Brake Operator

Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a Brake Operator to join their team. As a Brake Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Brake Operator
**Location:** Stockton, CA
**Pay Range:** $22-23/hr
**Shift:** Day Shift Monday-Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Run out set ups that have been proven and make minor changes in tooling and machine controller to maintain tolerance on very specific dimensions.
+ Measure dimensions accurately using dial calipers, squares, and protractors.
+ Maintain cleanliness in the department, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment as needed.
+ Assist higher-level operators with material handling and large parts to ensure smooth workflow.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations.
**What's Needed?**
+ Requires 1-year working experience in a precision sheet metal environment with a minimum of 6 months as a Brake Operator.
+ Available to start as early as 4:30am
+ Ability to read and understand written documents.
+ Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
+ Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
+ Willingness to assist others and take on various tasks as needed.
